Our services

Our management referral service provides your organisation with an independent specialist medical advice on how to safely keep an employee at work, help them return to the workplace and what adjustments you could consider to help facilitate their return.

All management referrals that we receive are triaged by a senior member of the clinical team, this ensures that the referrals are processed to the most appropriate member of the clinical team (OHP, OHA, Physio, Psychiatrist or another member of the clinical team), this ensures that you have the expert opinion on fitness to work, fitness to attend disciplinary to ensure compliance with The Equality Act 2010.

Pre-employment questionnaires

  • Our Pre-employment questionnaires are designed for a new employee to your organisation or a current employee who is changing their job roles. Our clinical New starter questionnaires will support your individuals to fulfil their potential from the first day.
  • Our Pre-employment questionnaire is validated by our Medical Director, questionnaires are quick and simple to fill out online and capture any pre-existing conditions, disabilities, treatments or medications which could impact an employee’s ability to perform their role.
  • Our team of clinicians will review the questionnaire and follow-up via a telephone consultation if any underlying medical condition, medication or treatment is declared. Any recommendations or adjustments that may need to be considered by the employer to help support the employee to fulfil their duties, will be made in line with the Equality Act 2010.

New starter health assessment questionnaire

  • Our New starter health assessment questionnaire is a more in-depth health questionnaire that should be used for employees of your organisation who will be exposed to additional health and safety risks whilst completing their role.

    • Working in a health care setting, where vaccinations would be required.
    • Working in a safety-critical role/environment.
    • Night workers
    • Vocational driving
    • Working at heights
    • Working in confined spaces
    • Lone workers
    • And other statutory medicals to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Along with completing the New starter health questionnaire we would also ask the line manager to complete a Job Hazard form, this is a simple form that can be completed within a couple of minutes.

Health surveillance is a legal requirement, where an identifiable disease or adverse effects is associated with a work activity and should only be implemented where a risk assessment indicates that it is required.

Health Surveillance should not be confused with other health monitoring activities such as fitness to work medicals, wellbeing medicals and executive medicals.

Ill-health retirement applications, our team of Occupational Health Physicians have expert knowledge and understanding of the various pension schemes and their rules. Here at Agile OH, we can help your organisation navigate the complexities of the application process, we can also help expedite cases where there is a terminal diagnosis. We are experienced in advising on a wide range of pension schemes within the private and public sectors.

Many employees are exposed to hazards and risks as part of their role. Here at Agile OH we provide a wide range of vaccinations, for employees exposed to blood-borne viruses or other risks of infection whilst at work. When the risk is known, you need to take suitable precautions to protect the health of your employees, in line with employers’ statutory health and safety duties.
